Flip Flop Bop

Childrens book review of Matt Novak's "Flip Flop Bop", written by Helena, mother of 5 and grandmother of 3

If you and the young kids in your life like rhythm, you'll like this children's book all about the last day of school when you can say goodbye to shoes and socks and start wearing flip flops. Flops flops help make it a flip flopping bopping good summer.

Bright pictures and lots of colour, along witht the bouncing rhythm, make this a great story book to read aloud to kindergarten students and pre-schoolers. Those same features as well as the large print words and lots of repeated words will help beginning readers master this kids' book on their own.

So join in the summer fun of soda, lollipops, sandy beaches, and even rain and mud in "Flip Flop Bob."

And for those who read to their kids at bedtime, the book even ends with a "flop flop, flop" into bed for a "sleepytime bop"!
